Celebrate disability history month & International Day of People with a Disability

My Disability Plus is pleased to announce its 4th Disability Inclusion Festival

16th November to 25th December 2024

When we launched our first festival three years ago, many wondered why we commemorate Disability History Month and the International Day of People with a Disability. Since then, more people than ever before have recognised and commemorated the day, including the parliament.

Savio D'Souza, Co-founder of mydisabilityplus.

"This year, with a better, stronger, more diverse programme, we aim to do better, so please share, support and join in. We have been enormously grateful. We have a great team behind the festival and many with lived experience who have given feedback and support to develop the programme”.

Provost Mary Montague supported the launch.

"Mental health and wellbeing is often overlooked, work & home life,  the pandemic has highlighted the impact on our health. Self care and seek support is so important"
